The Xindak XA6950 MKII is a reference-grade hybrid integrated amplifier engineered to succeed the XA6900 platform, combining the organic harmonic warmth of vacuum tube preamplification with the high-current drive of solid-state power output. The preamplifier stage utilises two hand-matched Electro-Harmonix 6922 vacuum tubes, while the power amplifier section incorporates a fully symmetrical, true-balanced circuit layout. Delivering 40 watts per channel in pure Class A mode and transitioning seamlessly up to 130 watts per channel in Class A/B mode, the XA6950 MKII handles demanding loudspeaker loads with dynamic agility and wideband frequency linearity.
Constructed around a heavy-duty chassis weighing 28 kg, the amplifier houses custom high-capacity toroidal transformers, Xindak custom 10,000 µF filter capacitor banks, an motorized ALPS volume potentiometer, and twelve high-current Sanken power transistors (6x 2SA1295 / 6x 2SC3264). Signal connectivity includes three single-ended RCA inputs, one pair of balanced XLR inputs, and an upgraded USB interface capable of high-resolution digital playback directly from computer sources. The system is supplied complete with a full-function solid aluminium remote handset (RCA-011).
KEY FEATURES & PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGIES
- Vacuum Tube Preamplifier Architecture: Employs two hand-matched Electro-Harmonix 6922 vacuum tubes in the input preamp stage for enhanced harmonic texture and fluid midrange reproduction.
- High-Power Class A / Class A/B Output: Operates in pure Class A mode up to 40 watts per channel, expanding to 130 watts per channel in Class A/B to deliver high dynamic headroom.
- Fully Symmetrical True-Balanced Circuit Topology: Symmetrical power amplifier stage reduces common-mode noise and signal distortion across the entire bandwidth.
- High-Current Sanken Output Transistors: Output stage powered by twelve high-power Sanken bipolar transistors (6x 2SA1295 and 6x 2SC3264) for precise woofer control and thermal stability.
- Integrated Hi-Res USB Interface: Revised internal USB DAC interface enables direct high-resolution audio streaming from digital music sources.
- Precision Components & Power Reservoir: Features an ALPS precision volume potentiometer and proprietary Xindak 10,000 µF super-tolerance filter capacitor arrays fed by heavy-duty toroidal mains transformers.
