The VREL Bequadro is an open-baffle, dipolar loudspeaker system utilizing a modified D'Appolito design with no crossover network—even for high frequencies. Designed and manufactured at the ADCOMM facility in Central Italy, VREL loudspeakers feature custom drivers, custom horns, and zero compression or resonance chambers to deliver a pure, uncolored soundstage that completely eliminates the "soundbox" effect.
With an almost purely resistive load (11 ohms) and high sensitivity (95 dB), the Bequadro works effortlessly with a wide variety of amplification, proving particularly welcoming to low SE or high-power PP tube amplifiers. Complete with hand-matched consecutive serial numbers, premium solid wood options, and a natural waxed finish, each pair is hand-built as a numbered, signed series.

- No Electrical Crossover: Presents an almost purely resistive load without complex inductive/capacitive phase shifts, maximizing transient speed and amplifier compatibility.
- Full Dipolar System: Open-baffle design with HD/HDPP drivers, MCD/CW horns, and zero compression chambers for seamless front-and-rear sound dispersion.
- SMES Bass Extension Support: The Scalar Mutual Extension System (SMES) extends low-frequency response and authority without resorting to traditional subwoofers with poor transient characteristics.
- Versatile Placement & Listening: Room-friendly positioning with complete 360-degree stage reconstruction, ensuring optimal imaging from anywhere in the room.
- Premium Custom Finishes: 6 standard solid wood options (or optional exotic woods), 6 faux-leather front panel finishes, and 6 cloth grille colour options (laser-cut birch wood front grille also available by special order).
