Thorens SPU 124 cartridge is a modernised version of the classic SPU design. It has been designed with several improvements for optimum compatibility for the Thorens TD 124 DD turntable. The TD 124 DD is Thorens modern revival one of the most legendary turntables in the brands history. SPU 124 Upgrades The SPU 124 features a revised generator system, which allows for a maximum output of 0.5 mV, relaxing the requirement for high gain transformer or active pre-amplification systems.
