The Tannoy Legacy Series Arden is a high-performance 2-way floorstanding loudspeaker designed for large listening rooms and studio monitoring environments. Based on Tannoy's iconic HPD 1974 pedigree technology, the Legacy Arden updates the classic cabinet design with modern high-density materials, advanced crossover components, and refined driver assembly while preserving the transparent soundstage and aesthetic of the original classic.
Handcrafted in Tannoy's UK and European workshops, the Arden houses a powerful 15-inch Dual Concentric point-source transducer capable of handling up to 600W peak power. The low-frequency section utilizes a fiber-enriched paper pulp cone with a twin-roll impregnated fabric surround, while the high-frequency section features a 1.3-inch aluminum-magnesium alloy dome compression driver. Complete with a triple front-ported enclosure, a 2-band high-frequency control panel, and Differential Materials Technology (DMT) internal bracing, the Arden combines studio-grade detail with effortless dynamics and deep bass extension down to 35 Hz.

- 15" HPD-Derived Dual Concentric Driver: Aligns low- and high-frequency output on a single acoustic axis for point-source timing coherence, wide conical dispersion, and natural imaging.
- Aluminium-Magnesium Compression Driver: 33 mm (1.3") high-frequency driver with edge-wound voice coil delivers clean, extended high-frequency articulation up to 30 kHz.
- Paper Pulp Cone with Twin-Roll Surround: 380 mm (15") woofer cone with a 52 mm (2") edge-wound voice coil provides high sensitivity (93 dB) and fast transient bass response.
- Front-Mounted 2-Band HF Control Panel: Integrated energy control panel allows users to tailor high-frequency shelving (±3 dB) and roll-off slope (+2 dB to -6 dB/octave) to match room acoustics.
- Triple Distributed Front Porting: Front-ported cabinet layout reduces room boundary interactions while extending low-frequency impact and airflow.
- High-Density Cabinet with DMT Bracing: Constructed from 19 mm MDF with heavily damped plywood internal bracing utilizing Differential Materials Technology to eliminate panel resonance.
- 5-Point Gold-Plated Binding Posts: Customized 24ct gold-plated terminals support bi-wiring/bi-amping and include a fifth ground terminal to drain RF interference and improve midrange clarity.
- 8 mm Floor Coupling Spikes & Accessories: Includes heavy-duty adjustable floor spikes, carpet protectors, bi-wire bridging links, and Tannoy Prestige wood wax.
