Driven by an isolated motor housed in a solid aluminum block, the Signature 12.2 utilizes a flywheel belt-drive system powered by a precision DC-driven AC generator for flawless 33 and 45 RPM speed stability. The massive 10.55 kg TPE-damped aluminum platter features an integrated recycled vinyl top mat and sits on an inverted ceramic bearing that is magnetically decoupled to eliminate rumble and bearing noise. Complementing the drive system is a newly engineered 12-inch S-shaped aluminum tonearm featuring a 3-point pivot bearing for minimal friction and maximum tracking stability, alongside a 5-pin DIN output supporting Pro-Ject's True Balanced Connection technology.
