NuForce developed the STA-100 amplifier for the audio enthusiast as an audiophile-grade stereo power amp housed in an elegant, modestly sized enclosure. Offering quality parts throughout and advanced, high-efficiency switching amplifier operation, the STA-100 delivers genuine NuForce performance and value.
The STA-100's size belies its power: a robust 160 Watts into 4-Ohms per channel. Sharing technology with NuForces award-winning V3 mono amplifiers, mere power alone doesn't tell the whole story. The STA-100 renders all of your recordings with thundering lows, crystalline highs, and a warm, tube-like midrange - all in perfect balance with exquisite resolution and effortless, fatigue-free sound.
Design & Features
Proprietary feedback circuitry operates as the cornerstone of the STA-100s sound quality. A self-resonant design, the 400 kHz PWM switching frequency constantly adjusts to the input signal, output current demands, and loudspeaker impedance variations. Incredible speed and accuracy ensure that the most explosive dynamics and the minutest of details convey the kind of life-like sound upon which NuForces reputation rests.
To be sure, the STA-100 is destined to find its place as the driving force in a great many music and A/V systems. When it comes to mating with d_cor and today's home audio components, the STA-100s power, transparency, modest size and sophisticated appearance defy competition at its modest price point. Where sound and style matter, nothing less will do.
