The Nordost Red Dawn LS is the flagship loudspeaker cable within Nordost's acclaimed Leif series, engineered for high-end audio systems seeking exceptional speed, transparency, and micro-detail. This ex-demo 3.5-meter stereo pair utilizes Nordost's signature flat-line geometry with mechanically tuned conductor spacing to minimise capacitance and eliminate strand interaction. Terminated with gold-plated Z-plug banana connectors (with one end re-terminated), this 3.5m length provides extra placement flexibility for larger rooms and offset rack configurations.

Constructed from 20 individual 26 AWG solid-core 99.9999% oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors plated with pure silver, the Red Dawn LS is extruded with high-grade Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) dielectric insulation. Achieving an ultra-fast signal velocity of 95% the speed of light with extremely low capacitance (10.0 pF/ft) and inductance (0.155 μH/ft), this cable provides pristine phase accuracy, articulate low-end timing, and an expansive stereo soundstage.

KEY FEATURES & PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGIES

• Flagship Leif Flat-Ribbon Geometry: Signature flat construction with mechanically tuned conductor spacing reduces inter-conductor capacitance and electromagnetic interference.
• 20 x 26 AWG Solid-Core Conductors: Solid-core architecture prevents inter-strand cross-talk and phase distortion inherent in conventional stranded cables.
• Silver-Plated 99.9999% Solid-Core OFC: Ultra-pure 6N oxygen-free copper coated with silver optimizes signal transfer across high frequencies.
• High-Grade FEP Dielectric Insulation: Premium Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) dielectric minimizes dielectric absorption for fast, low-loss signal propagation.
• 95% Velocity of Propagation: Delivers exceptional transient speed, dynamic impact, and accurate musical timing across the frequency spectrum.
• 3.5-Meter Length & Banana Termination: Generous 3.5m length fitted with gold-plated Z-plug banana connectors (note: one cable end has been re-terminated).
