The Matrix Audio MS-1C is a flagship-tier music streamer and Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) engineered as a reference digital source for high-end audio systems. Built around Asahi Kasei Microdevices' flagship AK4191 + AK4499EX DAC architecture, the MS-1C completely separates digital filtering from analog conversion to minimize phase noise and inter-channel crosstalk. Supporting high-resolution PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and native DSD up to 24.58MHz (DSD512), it incorporates dual ultra-low-phase-noise femtosecond clocks alongside an audiophile-grade Lundahl transformer-coupled analog output stage for rich, dynamic, and organic sound reproduction.

Housed in a precision CNC-machined aluminum chassis, the MS-1C serves as a complete digital nerve center. It offers extensive wireless and wired network connectivity—including Wi-Fi 6, Gigabit Ethernet, Roon Ready certification, AirPlay 2, and direct support for TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Spotify Connect. Internal local library storage can be expanded via an M.2 NVMe SSD slot, while a full suite of digital outputs (IIS-LVDS, AES/EBU, Coaxial, Optical, and USB DAC) allows the MS-1C to function seamlessly as a dedicated digital transport or integrated streamer/DAC managed via the MA Remote App.

KEY FEATURES & SYSTEM HIGHLIGHTS
