The Luxsin X8 Visual & Remote Kit (V&R Kit) is an official factory upgrade pack designed exclusively for the Luxsin X8 Intelligent DAC and Headphone Amplifier. Developed in response to owner and distributor demand, the kit replaces the original stock solid aluminum top cover with a transparent display-grade tempered glass panel to showcase the internal architecture—including its true dual-mono 8-chip Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC array and separated linear power supply rails. Additionally, the kit provides the dedicated infrared (IR) remote control referenced as an optional accessory in the X8 owner's manual.
To preserve signal purity and shield sensitive internal audio processing from external interference, the tempered glass cover features an integrated electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding film tested for thermal cycling stability. The included matte black IR handset enables comprehensive remote control over power, playback, volume, menu navigation, and reassignable hotkeys without requiring desktop app or touchscreen interaction. Installation takes approximately five minutes using the supplied hex tool and hardware.

- Customizable Remote Hotkeys: Configurable via the X8's General Settings → Key Settings menu; reassign the Menu key (Input Source or Filter Characteristic) and Power key (Mute or Screen DIM).
- Five-Minute Installation: Requires no internal wiring or soldering; includes a hex key, three replacement screws, and an illustrated installation guide.
