The KECES ePhono+ is a high-performance two-box phono preamplifier engineered to accommodate Moving Magnet (MM), Moving Coil (MC), and DS Audio optical cartridges within a single analogue control platform. Built around a clean signal architecture, the ePhono+ addresses noise contamination by separating its mains power transformer into an external linear power supply enclosure. Operating on a ±24V DC feed from the companion PSU, the main phono stage applies up to 72 dB of gain while isolating delicate low-level cartridge signals from electromagnetic interference.
Housed in two matching, compact aluminium enclosures weighing a combined 5 kg, the system features an in-house developed H-Sonic™ toroidal transformer and high-grade componentry throughout. The ePhono+ provides customizable cartridge matching, including selectable gain, adjustable MC loading, and a switchable subsonic filter to eliminate ultra-low-frequency warp resonance. Output connectivity includes gold-plated RCA single-ended jacks alongside balanced XLR outputs using Neutrik locking connectors for low-noise long-distance cable runs.
