The Clearaudio Balance V2 is a high-performance, fully balanced phono preamplifier designed to bridge audiophile-grade precision with effortless operation. Housed in a precision-milled aluminum chassis—available in silver or anodized black—it features an external power supply in a matching aluminum casing to isolate sensitive phono circuits from unwanted electrical interference.
Equipped to handle both Moving Magnet (MM) and Moving Coil (MC) cartridges via a simple selector switch, the Balance V2 automatically harmonizes input parameters for optimal cartridge matching. Ultra-precise RIAA equalization achieves an accuracy within ±0.1 dB using passive filter architecture. Connections include gold-plated RCA inputs/outputs, balanced XLR inputs/outputs, and an integrated 6.3 mm headphone output for dedicated personal listening.
