The Canton Reference 50 Centre Speaker is a high-performance 3-way centre channel loudspeaker designed to deliver precise dialogue clarity and dynamic home cinema performance. Engineered to pair seamlessly with Canton's flagship Reference Series, it features a 3-chamber enclosure with a down-firing bass reflex system for controlled low-frequency extension. Curved cabinet walls, a rounded front baffle, and custom POM (polyoxymethylene) adapter rings optimise sound dispersion, ensuring authentic audio reproduction from any seating position.
Equipped with dual 174 mm Black Ceramic Tungsten (BCT) drivers—incorporating Canton's Triple Curved Cone (TCC) technology and latest-generation Wave surrounds—the Reference 50 delivers articulate midrange and punchy bass with minimal harmonic distortion. High frequencies are handled by a 25 mm Aluminium Ceramic Oxyd (BC) dome tweeter. Signal transmission is managed via high-grade German WBT nextgen™ binding posts, complete with Room Compensation (RC) level controls for fine-tuning mid and high frequencies in 1.5 dB steps.
