The Børresen M3 Gold Signature floorstanding loudspeaker represents a monumental achievement in ultra-high-end acoustic engineering, designed through the collaborative vision of Michael Børresen and Flemming Erik Rasmussen. Standing over five feet tall, this 3-way, 5-driver reference loudspeaker combines advanced material science with proprietary noise-cancellation technologies. The cabinet is constructed to minimize mechanical micro-vibrations and acoustic diffraction, available in high-gloss piano black or piano white lacquer finishes.
The M3 Gold Signature features a 3-way array comprised of four 4.5-inch Børresen IronFree5 Zirconium Silver Supreme Edition (SSE) drivers alongside a central Børresen RP94 Gold Signature planar ribbon tweeter. The drivers utilize a 3-layer aramid honeycomb and spread-tow carbon fiber membrane coated with a HiPIMS-sputtered titanium, zirconium, and hafnium multi-layer finish, mounted in solid austenitic stainless-steel baskets. Driven by a patented iron-free magnet motor system featuring copper, silver, and gold pole rings, the M3 delivers an easy-to-drive 8-ohm load with 89 dB sensitivity, extending down to 25 Hz and reaching up to 50 kHz.
