The X2's driver array pairs a Børresen RP89 ultralight planar ribbon tweeter with two 4.5-inch Børresen DCC5 drivers—one handling bass/midrange and one dedicated to bass. The dynamic drivers feature a composite diaphragm made from spread-tow carbon fiber skins surrounding an aramid honeycomb core, powered by a magnetic motor system with dual copper caps to lower distortion and flatten impedance.
