Developed by Michael Børresen and Flemming Erik Rasmussen, the Børresen C3 floorstanding loudspeaker incorporates technologies derived from the reference 0-, T-, and M-series. Constructed using CNC-milled hardwood laminates, 1mm carbon fiber side panels, and block-milled internal bracing, the enclosure is engineered to minimize internal standing waves and mechanical resonance. The cabinet is supported by integrated Ansuz Darkz decouplers to isolate the loudspeaker from floor vibrations.

The driver complement features an RP94 planar ribbon tweeter (0.01g moving mass) alongside two 5-inch Børresen DCC5 Neo bass/midrange drivers and two 5-inch Børresen DCC5 Neo bass drivers. All dynamic drivers utilize a 3-layer laminated membrane consisting of carbon fiber skins surrounding an aramid honeycomb core for low distortion and rapid transient response. Internal circuitry is wired with Ansuz conductors and incorporates built-in Tesla coil noise cancellation alongside 3rd-generation analog dither technology to suppress electrical noise and reduce the noise floor. A phase-coherent serial crossover manages signal distribution, supporting bi-wiring, passive bi-amping, and active integration with Aavik amplifiers.
