The Audio-Technica AT33xEN is a premium dual moving coil (MC) cartridge from Audio-Technica's redesigned AT33x Series, specifically engineered to deliver warm, full-bodied, and expressive analog audio reproduction. Featuring a 0.3 x 0.7 mil nude elliptical stylus attached to a tapered duralumin pipe cantilever, the AT33xEN provides precise groove tracking with controlled, extended high-frequency response.
To control resonance and enhance mid-to-low frequency weight, the AT33xEN incorporates a newly designed multi-material body combining die-cast zinc at the base, aluminum, and high-rigidity polymer. Its upgraded suspension system utilizes a piano-wire mechanism that optimizes dynamic compliance for richer tonality, while independent PCOCC coils, a neodymium magnet, and a permendur yoke ensure high output efficiency, exceptional channel separation, and low signal loss. Built with integrated M2.6 threaded mounting holes, it allows simple direct headshell installation without loose nuts.
