The Accustic Arts PLAYER III is a premium CD player and integrated digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) handmade in Germany. Designed to serve both as a standalone disc player and as a digital hub for external media sources, the unit features a vibration-decoupled, tray-loading CD drive mechanism built specifically for audio applications. Its aluminium-ABS composite disc drawer is supported by dual metal guide bars to ensure smooth rotation and reliable disc tracking.
Operating as a standalone DAC, the PLAYER III incorporates four digital inputs—two coaxial RCA, one optical, and an asynchronous USB 2.0 port. The internal converter uses 32-bit / 384 kHz upsampling technology to process high-resolution PCM files alongside native DSD content up to DSD512. Power is supplied by two separate German-made 25 VA toroidal transformers to isolate digital processing from the analogue output stage, all housed within a brushed aluminium and steel enclosure.

- Dual German-Made Toroidal Power Supplies: Independent 25 VA toroidal transformers supply clean, separate power feeds to the laser mechanism, digital processing, and analogue stages.
- Separated Internal Circuit Architecture: Spatial physical separation between digital processing and analogue output sections maintains a low noise floor and clear signal paths.
- Brushed Aluminium & Steel Construction: Resonance-damped metal housing fitted with a finely brushed aluminium front panel and a chromed brass tray cover.
