The Aavik SD-880 is a flagship reference DAC and high-resolution streamer engineered by Audio Group Denmark to eradicate the digital imprint from music reproduction. Designed in collaboration by Flemming Erik Rasmussen and Michael Børresen, the SD-880 combines a proprietary Non-Switching Continuum Processing DAC with Aavik’s flagship network streaming engine. Housed in a non-magnetic copper and titanium chassis, the unit isolates delicate digital conversion stages from micro-vibrations and electromagnetic interference, yielding an ultra-natural soundstage with remarkable dynamic flow.
Powered by a power-factor-corrected Resonant Mode Power Supply, the SD-880 utilizes sine waves to deliver clean, effortless power with an ultra-low noise floor. The digital architecture is supported by Audio Group Denmark’s most extensive Ansuz noise-suppression suite to date—featuring 663 active square PCB Tesla coils, 314 active Tesla coils, 2 active zirconium anti-aerial resonance coils, and 35 3rd-generation analog dither circuits. Included with the SD-880 are flagship Ansuz Darkz Z2 Signature resonance control footers to completely decouple the chassis from mechanical vibrations.

- 35 3rd-Gen Analog Dither Circuits: Advanced anti-phase dither frequency technology that significantly lowers the background noise floor to expose subtle ambient details.
- Ansuz Darkz Z2 Signature Resonance Control: Includes custom Ansuz Darkz Z2 Signature mechanical decoupling footers for optimal vibration control.
