The Aavik SD-588 is a reference DAC and high-resolution streamer engineered by Audio Group Denmark as the flagship of the SD-x88 series. Combining proprietary Continuum DAC technology with Aavik’s advanced network streaming engine, the SD-588 eliminates digital switching noise to deliver an ultra-natural soundstage with exceptional dynamic flow and emotional engagement.
Housed in a non-magnetic, resonance-damped enclosure designed to minimize micro-vibrations and magnetic hysteresis, the SD-588 incorporates an extensive Ansuz noise-suppression suite. Featuring 216 active square PCB Tesla coils, 108 active Tesla coils, 2 Gold Anti-Aerial Resonance Coils (Gold AARC), and 9 analog dither circuits, the unit actively suppresses power line noise and RF interference to reveal micro-details, pristine channel separation, and lifelike harmonic decay.
