The Aavik P-880 is a flagship Class A stereo power amplifier engineered by Audio Group Denmark to deliver massive output power alongside unprecedented musical refinement. Designed in collaboration by Flemming Erik Rasmussen and Michael Børresen, the P-880 utilizes a unique non-switching Class A topology that keeps the output transistors continuously biased. Housed in a non-magnetic copper and titanium composite enclosure, it insulates the power stage from micro-vibrations and electromagnetic interference, delivering an ultra-clear, effortless soundstage with deep dynamic impact.
Operating with a high-efficiency Resonant Mode Power Supply, the P-880 maintains clean current delivery without introducing square-wave switching noise. The amplifier is backed by an extraordinary matrix of Audio Group Denmark's active noise reduction technologies—including 411 active square PCB Tesla coils, 182 active Tesla coils, 20 active zirconium anti-aerial resonance coils, 4 active zirconium cable anti-aerial coils, and 18 3rd-generation analog dither circuits. This active noise cancellation virtually eliminates the noise floor, allowing the P-880 to drive demanding loudspeaker loads with total authority and transparency.
