The Aavik P-188 is a high-performance stereo power amplifier from Audio Group Denmark, engineered to deliver 2 x 300 Watts into 8 Ohms (2 x 600 Watts into 4 Ohms). Utilizing Pascal Class D amplifier technology with proprietary UMAC™ pulse-width modulation, the P-188 provides ultra-low noise, high dampening factors, and precise loudspeaker control across demanding dynamic transients.
Housed in a low-resonance, non-magnetic composite chassis, the amplifier isolates sensitive audio signals from mechanical vibration and electromagnetic interference. Power is delivered by a sine-wave Resonant Mode Power Supply capable of providing high peak current energy on demand. Supported by Audio Group Denmark’s active noise-reduction suite—comprising 36 active Tesla coils, 115 active square PCB Tesla coils, 4 Anti-Aerial Resonance Coils, and 4 analog dither circuits—the P-188 preserves signal purity and drives distortion down to an astonishing 0.0028% THD+N.
