The Critical Link
Rigid. Light. Precise.
The headshell is the critical mechanical interface between your delicate phono cartridge and your tonearm. It is the very first point of contact in your analogue signal path. While often viewed as a basic mounting bracket, a high-end headshell is a precision-engineered acoustic component.

Headshell FAQs
Do I need to re-align my cartridge every time I swap headshells?
Do I need to re-align my cartridge every time I swap headshells?
If you have multiple headshells, you only need to align the cartridge once for each specific headshell using an alignment protractor. Once the cartridge is perfectly bolted into position on the headshell, it stays aligned.
However, because different cartridges have different weights and heights, every time you swap headshells, you must re-balance your tonearm, reset your Tracking Force (VTF), and potentially adjust your Tonearm Height (VTA) before dropping the needle.
