Unsurprisingly, it performed sonically much in the same way as the loudspeaker stand, delivering a more open soundstage and cleaner spectral decay.

Giving greater insight already, we then looked at the crossover, which retains the same component values but now with upgraded resistors used for R1 and R2.

Handmade in England, this is the best Rogers LS3/5A we have ever built and arguably the finest LS3/5A available today.

Matching Stands*
Partnered with the matching Panzaholz stand, the LS3/5A SE speakers transcends logical expectation of what is possible with a two-way transducer speaker system, ultimately sounding more like that of a high-quality point source panel speaker.
*stands not included

Instantly recognisable
Rogers SE versions are instantly recognisable with their new Gold badge on the front and new gold label on the rear. These finishing touches confirm the elevated performance worthy of an SE title.

Technical Specifications

System type: Two way infinite baffle

Frequency response: 80Hz-20KHz +/-3dB

Nominal Impedance: 15 Ohms

Bass/midrange: 110mm Bextrene cone

Tweeter: 19mm Mylar dome

Crossover frequency: 3KHz

Sensitivity: 82.5dB/W/M

Standard Finish: Amazaque, Walnut, Rosewood and Olive

Grille: Black Tygan

Dimensions: 305 x 190 x 165mm (HxWxD)

Weight: 4.9Kg (each speaker)

Recommended amplifier range 30-80 Watts

BBC-licensed

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0917/3283/6618/files/rogers-ls3-5a-classic-se-loudspeakers-_2_-41831-p_af53bcc0-1b8b-4bae-936e-0d0c1c43f209.jpg?v=1773483097
