Designed to leverage boundary effect coupling, the PL-1 can be mounted directly on-wall or positioned close to boundary walls using an optional cart, delivering articulate low-frequency extension down to 31 Hz (-6 dB) from a chassis only 5.7 inches (144 mm) deep.

Driven by a 300-Watt RMS Pure Class D amplifier, the PL-1 houses dual front-firing 6.5-inch FibreAlloy long-throw drivers paired with a rear-firing 10-inch passive radiator featuring over 45mm of excursion. Utilizing REL’s all-analog PerfectFilter circuitry and high-level Neutrik SpeakOn input connection, the subwoofer integrates with main speakers without digital latency. Each unit features built-in Airship Direct wireless technology, utilizing a pre-paired receiver concealed within a rear compartment for cable-free installation.

KEY FEATURES & PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGIES

Ultra-Thin Boundary-Coupled Design: Engineered for on-wall or near-wall placement, utilizing rear-wall boundary effect coupling to reinforce deep bass from a slim-profile cabinet.

Dual 6.5" FibreAlloy Active Drivers: Twin front-firing 6.5" FibreAlloy long-throw drivers built on steel chassis deliver fast dynamics and low-distortion transient response.

10" Rear-Firing Passive Radiator: Specially tuned 10" passive radiator with >45mm excursion fires toward the wall to expand low-frequency output and room integration.

300W Pure Class D Amplifier: Efficient, high-current Class D power module conservatively rated at 300W RMS for cool-running, effortless dynamic delivery.

All-Analog PerfectFilter Circuitry: Fully analog input filters preserve timing, phase coherence, and tonal balance without analog-to-digital conversion latency.

Integrated Airship Direct Wireless: Built-in, factory pre-paired wireless receiver housed in a concealed rear-panel compartment for uncompressed, zero-latency wireless signal transmission.

Flexible High-Level & LFE Connectivity: Features REL's High-Level Neutrik SpeakOn connection alongside standard Low-Level RCA and dedicated LFE RCA inputs.

SPECIFICATIONS

Product Type

Ultra-Thin On-Wall / Near-Wall Powered Subwoofer

Active Driver Configuration

2 x 6.5" (165 mm) Front-Firing FibreAlloy Cone Drivers, Long-Throw, Steel Chassis

Passive Radiator Configuration

1 x 10" (250 mm) Rear-Firing FibreAlloy Passive Radiator, Steel Chassis (>45 mm Excursion)

Amplifier Type & Power Output

Pure Class D Amplifier | 300 Watts RMS

Low Frequency Extension

-6 dB @ 31 Hz (In-Room)

Input Connectors

HIGH-LEVEL Neutrik SpeakOn, LOW-LEVEL Single RCA, LFE Single RCA

Wireless Integration

Built-in Airship Direct Wireless Technology (Factory Pre-Paired Module)

Filtering & Processing

All-Analog PerfectFilter Circuitry

Electronic Protection

Fully Electronic Set Safe, D.C.
