The platter is internally damped with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) to provide further density and stability during use. An aluminium sub-platter is then employed to further isolate the platter from the motor and improve the tolerances of the turntable.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe sub-platter rides on an inverted ceramic ball main bearing that mates with a Teflon plate for reliable speed stability in use.
