The efficient bass reflex cabinet and the functionality of the subwoofer are also noteworthy. The amplifier module is equipped with a cut-off and gain frequency control as well as a phase switch, which allows you to adjust the signal processing parameters to the user’s needs. This active subwoofer is perfect for both stereo and home theater systems.

The Indiana Line brand was founded in 1977 in Turin. Currently, it is one of the most important Italian brands offering loudspeakers and installation speakers. The brand stands out from the competition of the rational use of components and an optimized production process. The goals of Indiana Line designers and engineers have resulted in the appearance on the market of models that achieve sonic qualities that go far beyond the parameters that can be achieved in a similar price range.

Basso series and unique acoustic possibilities

Basso models are active subwoofers with amazing acoustic capabilities. They have been designed to complete the low-frequency range processed by loudspeakers in stereo and home theater systems. The amplifiers built into the Basso subwoofers are equipped with a complete control section, which allows them to perfectly match other components of the audio system and the acoustics of the listening room.

Efficient bass reflex cabinet

This active subwoofer will work not only among home theater fans, but also music lovers. It uses two bass reflex ports located on the rear of the cabinet, minimizing the audibility of unwanted turbulence. The very low tuning frequency prevents excessive excursion of the 275 mm woofer. To deepen the bass, it has been placed underneath (produces sound towards the floor).

Functional control section

The class AB amplifier module used in the construction of this subwoofer is equipped with crossover frequency and gain controls as well as a phase switch, which allows for adjusting the processing parameters to the user’s needs. The Basso 840 is finished with matte black vinyl. The subtle and timeless design of this model’s cabinet makes it easily fit into any interior design.

The most important features of the Basso 840 model:

275 mm woofer

Bass reflex cabinet with two ports at the back

Class AB amplifier

Finish: black matte vinyl

Frequency response: 30 to 180 Hz

Crossover frequency: from 40 to 180 Hz

Supply voltage: 220 – 240 V

Nominal / maximum power: 75 W / 125 W

Maximum power consumption: 125 W

Standby power consumption: less than 0,5 W

Dimensions (H x W x D): 385 x 300 x 320 mm

Weight: 10,2 kg

Technical Data

Speaker alignment / type

subwoofer

Box alignment / port placement

2 x bass-reflex / back

Driver diameter

275 mm

Frequency response

30 – 180 Hz

Crossover

40 – 180 Hz

Amplifier type

class AB

Nominal / maximum power

75 / 125 W

Maximum power consumption

125 W

Standby power consumption

< 0,5 A

Fuse rating

1 A

Line inputs

L / R / LFE

Hi-level input

yes (L / R)

Power supply voltage

220 – 240 V AC

Dimensions (H x W x D)

385 x 300 x 320 mm

Color

black

Weight

10,2 kg
